This is a quite a special movie. Not because Adam Sandler is not being funny, but the storyline is a little special.
This is an "adult" movie, young people may not appreciate it, but being an adult working for years, having a wife, a family, a career, you may be able to get some catch about it.
It's about a story about friendship, about communication, about how you look at life.
A successful dentist, with a gorgeous wife, 2 daughters, got stressed up with his life. He worked hard, tried to be a nice husband, good son, responsible father... but he is not happy, all he has is the mentioned above.
One day, he ran into his long lost friend, his college roommate, a very good friend of him in the olden days,
His friend lost his wife and daughters during 911 and never been able to get over it and behave very weirdly.
Since then they catch up and start working out their lifes.
How many friends would you have when you are at your mid 40s? Who can you talk to when you are troubled?
How badly you want to run away from your family even if you still love them?
This is not a real great movie, and it's not really nice. But it just catch some part of my heart.
Maybe you will just get some part of it too...
